Connect With A Classroom Grants

Champions For Learning began funding classroom grants in the early 1990s, and was cutting edge in the state when it began Connect With A Classroom in 2003.  This online program allows teachers to post funding requests (maximum $2,000) for creative, innovative learning experiences for their students, which also invests in best practices to share with other teachers.  Champions For Learning funds these classroom grants through the proceeds from the specialty Florida Educational License Plate along with contributions from clubs and organizations to the Connect With A Classroom Grant Fund, and through individuals in the community who view and fund grants for which they have an interest.  This grant program provides remarkable opportunities both for teachers in the Collier County and for community members who want to play a part in improving the quality of instruction in our schools.

Teachers: Connect With A Classroom 2014-2015 Grant Cycle

The Connect With A Classroom Grant website is open for you to create your profile and submit your requests for the 2014-2015 school year.  The deadline to be considered for the License for Learning funding, and other funding from the Connect With A Classroom Grant Fund is September 8, 2014. After that date, you may continue to post grant requests for community consideration throughout the school year.

If you have not created a Connect With A Classroom account, click here to create your profile and begin. Please note that you must sign up as a teacher only (even if you are a parent) and use your school email address.  Once you login, you will navigate your profile by scrolling on top of the “My Account” tab (in the black menu bar at the top of the page) and when the drop down opens, click on “Profile”.  After you have successfully created your account, each time you return to the website, you will continue to use the black menu bar at the top of the page for login and access to your profile.

Click here to view, download, or print a pdf manual of how to create your profile, post an opportunity and/or submit a classroom grant.

If you are a previous Connect With A Classroom account holder, click here to log in and update your profile and begin your requests.  Your username and password will be the same as before.  Again, you must continue to use your school email address.  Once you login, you will navigate your profile by scrolling on top of the “My Account” tab (in the black menu bar at the top of the page) and when the drop down opens, click on “Profile”.  Each time you return to the website, you will continue to use the black menu bar at the top of the page for login and access to your profile.

If you are a teacher at an independent school and your school is not listed in the menu, speak to your principal about getting the school profile set up and contact us.
